We modernize the systems your business already runs on.

devKore is a software and web development agency. U.S.-based engineers lead the build with modern tooling, agentic AI among it. Every change goes through a pull request, with tests, linting and release notes. Work ships in weeks, a release at a time.

The move, in four lines. The rest of this page names the technology and the work behind each line.

If this sounds familiar, it is the work.

Modernization starts with a system that is still running, and still costing time, because nobody has taken it on in full.

  1. An application nobody wants to touch

It runs the business, and it has not been changed in a long time because every change feels like a risk. The application stays as it is, and the team works around it.

  2. A spreadsheet that became load-bearing

It started as a list. It is now the record for people, steps and dates, and the business stops when the file is wrong.

  3. The same data typed twice

Two systems hold the same customer, the same order, the same date. Staff copy between them, and the copies drift apart.

  4. Infrastructure due a deliberate migration

The platform still runs, but the way it is deployed and hosted belongs to an earlier decision. It needs a planned move, not another patch.

What a modernization looks like

A move from what ran to what runs now, in a named place, with named technology. Choose a move to see it.

The selected move, as an axonometric diagram. Drag to turn it. The lines below say the same thing.

Capabilities, in the order we do them

Modernization first. AI last, where it earns its place.

  1. 01

    Legacy modernization

Older applications and infrastructure moved onto current platforms, in place, while the business keeps running.

  2. 02

    Infrastructure migration

Azure, App Service Environment moved to AKS, Terraform and Bicep. Deployments put under infrastructure as code.

Azure · App Service Environment → AKS · Terraform · Bicep

  3. 03

    Integrations

Systems that do not talk, joined, so the same data is not typed twice.

Stripe webhooks · Zoho CRM · Meta Lead Ads · Google Ads

  4. 04

    Custom portals and internal tools

Web applications, APIs and admin tools built around the systems already in use. Laravel and PHP where that is what runs.

    React 19 · Vite · Node 24 · Laravel · PHP

  5. 05

    Workflow automation

Manual steps between systems, replaced with software: lookups, follow-ups, reminders and reports.

  6. 06

AI agents on text and voice

Agents that answer a lead or a member of staff inside limits set for them, and hand off to a person. Last, not first.

Engagements, by industry

Each one is described by industry, then by challenge, then by what shipped. No company is named here.

  1. A regulated electric and gas utility, operating in two states

Challenge: Two state businesses ran as separate operations, with customer service and deployments to match.

What shipped: The two state businesses now run as one operation, with customer service unified onto Twilio. Deployments went under Terraform and Bicep, and the App Service Environment moved to AKS.

  2. A mortgage technology platform

Challenge: Insurance quotes were assembled afterward, outside the request that needed them.

What shipped: Middleware that returns insurance quotes inside the request. It is multi-tenant across three loan origination systems.

  3. An investment research subscription business

Challenge: The customer list and Stripe did not stay in step, and an outage left no clear way back.

What shipped: Stripe webhooks reconciled against the customer list, tooling to recover from outages, and a rebuilt admin dashboard.

  4. A workforce operations company

Challenge: An Excel worksheet had become the record for workers, steps and dates.

What shipped: The Excel worksheet retired for a web application: worker roster, a 19-step checklist per worker, and an offboarding archive.

  5. A moving and logistics company

Challenge: CRM and telephony ran apart, and follow-up depended on staff remembering to make it.

What shipped: CRM and telephony joined into one portal, with SMS sequences and dialers.

Five moves, if this were your stack

What we would do next, and why now. Each move is one we have already run somewhere.

One typed interface per system

Why nowMost integrations are still built pair by pair, so every new application or agent is another project. One typed interface over a system serves all of them, and the next integration becomes configuration.

Where we have run itMiddleware for a mortgage technology platform: one interface returning insurance quotes inside the request, multi-tenant across three loan origination systems.

Deployment under code before anything new writes to production

Why nowTooling can now open a reviewed change in minutes. What makes that safe is a platform where any release can be rebuilt and rolled back, so infrastructure as code comes first rather than after.

Where we have run itA regulated utility's deployments put under Terraform and Bicep, with the App Service Environment moved to AKS.

A reconciler behind every event feed

Why nowAnything built on webhooks eventually misses one, and the business hears about it from a customer. A job that compares both sides and repairs the difference ends the whole class of bug.

Where we have run itStripe webhooks reconciled against a subscription business's customer list, with tooling to recover after an outage.

Agents with a stated boundary, and the handoff counted

Why nowWhether an agent can hold a conversation is settled. What matters is which calls it should end, which it should pass to a person, and whether you can see the split.

Where we have run itThe HaulOS appointment setter, on Twilio voice and messaging, answering inside set limits and handing off to a person.

Your own estimate, kept beside your own result

Why nowEvery vendor is quoting a multiplier for AI-assisted delivery. Estimate the next project the way you always have, build it the new way, and keep both numbers.

Where we have run itThe HaulOS figures above are ours, measured that way.

How the work is delivered

The delivery method is modern tooling, agentic AI among it, led by U.S. engineers. It is a method, not the product.

  1. 01

    Discovery

One call to map the systems your staff work in: the CRM, the phones, the texts and the spreadsheets.

  2. 02

    Build, led by U.S. engineers

U.S.-based engineers lead the build against the backlog, with modern tooling that includes agentic AI. The work is written on a branch, reviewed as a pull request, and checked with tests and linting.

  3. 03

    Ship weekly, with release notes

A release goes out as each piece is ready, with a note on what changed. The work is shipped in weeks, not held for a single handover.
